PERSONALITY
Ambitions: Michael is goal is simply, he wants power. He wants all the power in the world, and he will only be happy when he has more power than anyone else. He hopes to use Cipher to obtain this level of power, and with its members he will collect every legendary he can get his hands on. He supposes that also reigniting the Shadow Pokemon Project, is of interest as well. HISTORY Michael wasn't always the kind of person he is today, and being able to pinpoint what exactly drove the man to his current life style can be hard. I will however do my best to tell the story of Michael Price, the man who wants it all. Michael was born in Rustboro City, Hoenn. His father Elias Price was a failed actor and his mother Victoria Price was a Pokemon Trainer one with a bit of a musical background. If one is going to be perfectly honest, Victor and Elias weren't planning to have Michael he was by all means an accident. Still, when he was born on August sixth they loved him just as they would have if he had been planned. Fearing that the city life wasn't the kind of environment that they wanted to raise their child in, the two parents moved to Oldale Town. It would be in this small little village where Michael spent most of his early days, from teething little baby, to a toddler learning how to say his first words. Even during his early years, Michael was a charismatic and curious person. His parent would often times find their child wandering a little too far from home, or see him interacting with other children without a shred of shyness. By the time he was six Michael had developed an interest in reading, reading anything really. When his parents would ask him why he would spend so much time inside his books, he would always reply with "I just want to know more.". Yes, the thirst for more is perhaps what would become his undoing. One night during Michael's eighth year of life he wandered downstairs to get himself something drink, and in doing so he came across the most relaxing and beautiful sound he had ever heard. His mother playing the piano. He had always known she could play, but he had never heard it himself. The music was soothing; it evoked something in Michael that he had only felt within the pages of his books. He approached his mother after she had finished and requested for her to teach him. She agreed. The next two years of Michael's life were spent toiling away at the old piano in his house, his mother next to him teaching him her musical skill. Then at the age of ten like all boys Michael was given the option to leave home and explore his region as a Pokemon Trainer. He declined. He felt as though he wasn't ready to leave home yet, and while that was true...the real reason behind it was that he was afraid. He didn't really know what was beyond the safety of his town, beyond the routes both in front of and behind him. He let the fear stop him from leaving, but it did pay off in the end. For you see his father could tell that something was bothering his son, and in an attempt to comfort him Elias showed Michael videos of attempts at scoring some roles. He explained to his son that after being told no a few times he let the fear of rejection stop him from ever trying again, and that letting his fear control him was his greatest mistake. Being the kind and caring child that he was Michael told his father that he would handle his dream, that he would be the greatest actor ever because his father couldn't be. He left home a year after this, a Torchic named Ifrit his partner on this long journey. He didn't leave home with just Torchic though; he left with a friend of his named Eric. Eric had been Michael's best friend for the longest of times, and because Michael hadn't left when he was ten neither did Eric wanting to experience the world with his friend. The two of them traveled through the region and beat a few gyms on their way around it, all the while Michael did his best to improve his abilities as an actor. Slateport City is where Michael's life began to take a turn for the worst; for you see it would be here that Michael joined the ranks of the criminal organization called Team Magma. Why did he join? Michael himself isn't quite too sure on the reason, was he curious? Was he stupid? No. Michael joined because of combination of things, he was curious, he was stupid, he was young, and it was a way to test himself. Could he act like a big bad guy? The answer was yes. In fact he found it easy to play the role of villain, beat this guy up, steal this Pokemon, do this thing, it was all so simple. Yet for as simple as it was, it was thrilling. He would only found out the reason why it was so enjoyable later. What he would find out here though, was that sometimes people can and will betray you. Eric had joined Team Magma with Michael, but after a few months of dealing with them he couldn't help but leave. Michael felt betrayed. He only stayed with Team Magma for a couple more weeks after this before he made his leave, no would miss the twelve year old who didn't really do anything for them. He went back to traveling the region, something twisted boiling his his gut. By the time Michael was thirteen he had explored most of what his home region had to offer him and he returned home, where he wasn't welcomed with open arms. Eric had arrived home a few months before Michael and had told his parents everything. They yelled at him, they lectured him, and asked him if he had forgotten all they had taught him. The feeling within his stomach grew larger at that moment, and he filled with an anger he was unaware he had within him. He attacked Eric in his first true act of violence against a person, and was only stopped when his father pulled him away. His parents paid for Eric's hospital bills and the forbid Michael from leaving the house again. Feeling that his time away had changed him too much, he stayed within the confines of his home for 3 years, improving his acting and piano skills. Then at the age of sixteen he left home. Snuck out while his mother and father were sleeping he did not want to be in his prison anymore. He gathered enough money and took a boat to Orre a location he was sure his mother and father would never think to look for him at. When the boat docked the first place he went to was Pyrite Town, where he got a job at the local inn. A month into his time in Orre Michael learned why he enjoyed Team Magma so much. Two trainers were battling and one of them was using a Pokemon unlike anything he had ever seen. A Shadow Pokemon. One whose heart was closed off, and had power unlike any other. He watched the Shadow Pokemon destroy the other trainer, and it was then he learned what he really wanted in life. Power, if you had power you could do whatever you liked in this world, you could even rule it. Michael went about figuring out where these powerful Shadow Pokemon came from and learned that it was from a group called Cipher. Actually tracking them down to join them was troublesome, but he managed to do so. Two years after his joining them however they were defeated by a man named Wes, or at least it had seemed that way. In truth they had only gone into hiding, waiting for their true master to give them new orders. It was during this downtime that Michael began to expand his skills even more, this time focusing on his skills as a trainer. He had always had a talent for it, but he had so focused on other things it had taken the backseat. Not anymore though. He was nineteen when Cipher became active again, and was twenty when it fell for good this time. That was until he picked up the pieces, and began to rebuild it. At least...he's been trying to anyway. Two years and he hasn't had much luck, but he managed to uncover a few of Cipher remaining Shadow Pokemon machines. As well as few other toys that the villainous group used during their reign of Orre. Michael knows that staying in Orre will prove troublesome, so he'd departed to Nue where he will rise Cipher up from the ashes. He's currently working as a bartender in Flash City, and he uses his occupation as a way to scout out potential members. OTHER INFORMATION
RP SAMPLE RP Sample: Michael took a long breath as he walked into the destroyed ruins of his hometown. Old memories of a time when he was purer more innocent and unwise of the ways of the world flowed into his mind, and those memories made him sick. He wasn't...an evil person he honestly didn't care what happened when all this was over, he just wanted it to be over. So he picked a side and the side he picked was the one causing the destruction. He'd much rather be on there side, than the side of the so called heroes of the world. Michael kicked a rock as he walked blonde hair moving about in the wind as well. This was his home he should have felt some kind of sadness over the matter, but as far as he could tell he didn't. His heart wasn't aching as he passed by the houses, he didn't feel himself getting angry at the Knights for having destroyed it, he felt nothing. No he wasn't emotionless he just didn't care for the actions the Knights took. As he walked Michael got the feeling he was getting closer to his house, the house where he once lived. It was lucky for him that his mother and little sister had left with Eric's family. Speaking of Eric he began to see his figure standing in front of the house that was next to his. Eric was his best friend they had grown up together traveled Hoenn together, and even joined the Knights at the same time. Lately though they hadn't seen each other in such a long time. Michael walked up to his childhood friend and gave a evil smile, and then he spoke not in his normal voice but in one much darker than his. "Heehee what are you doing you here you worm! I thought you were given orders to attack the Sinnoh region!" Michael arched his back and let out a evil laugh. He then looked back at Eric his smile fading and spoke in his normal tone, "What do you think? Was I a convincing evil person?" he asked. |
