ZENTRY |
▸ Shinjin ▸ Non-Binary ▸ Unknown ▸ Chaotic Good ▸ 300 |
PERSONALITY Confident and dripping with charm, Zentry isn't afraid to put themselves out there and socialize. Their captivating smile and jovial nature can make it easy for others to approach them. They are quite whimsical, however, which might be off-putting to some and make their intentions hard to gauge.
Perceptive to a fault, they have little difficulty analyzing people, taking note of things like body language and vocal tone to assume intention and mood. While not flawless, alongside their conversational skills, it helps in defusing situations without violence.
While not necessarily a pacifist, they like to avoid fighting whenever possible. They prefer compromise or deception to the use of force. If pushed to it, however, they aren't against fighting. In such cases, they'll aim to restrain or knockout their opponent rather than kill.
A scholar Zentry possesses a childlike curiosity for the unknown and unexplored. Something complimented well by their ravenous thirst for knowledge. Not without its fault, they will often get tunnel vision and obsess over the things they find interesting. It isn't just things what they don't know that intrigues them either. A person or a place can just as quickly spark their fancy.
Take the mortal realm, for example, a place that Zentry finds vastly more interesting than its heavenly counterpart. To the point that they frequently neglect their duties to explore and interact with its inhabitants.
HISTORY Born several millennia ago from the golden-fruit of the Kaiju tree, Zentry has always been a bit of an oddity amongst their people. Continually asking questions and involving themselves in matters above their station. Even when undergoing training, a new inquiry or idea would be on the tip of their tongue. While tolerated for a time, tolerance soon turned to concern. It was clear their desire to learn, to experience, and explore was one that wouldn't go away.
But Zentry's natural talent couldn't be ignored either, so when the time came to receive their role amongst the Kai. They were selected alongside three others to study under the Supreme Kai of the North. Many hoped that the position would quench their desire to learn. For millennia, it did just that, but Zentry eventually grew bored with the Supreme Kai's teachings. They felt as though they'd seen and learned all that Other World had to offer them.
Their attention turned to the mortal realm in which they'd been observing for quite some time. Zentry had graced it with their presence once or twice alongside their peers during lessons. It was far more fascinating and governed by chaos instead of the rigid law and order that defined the heavenly realm. What secrets did it and its people hold? They needed to find out for themselves.
So while the others were distracted, Zentry slipped off to the Mortal Realm for what would be the first of many visits. Each visit would be longer than the one before it, and each left them craving more. It's been almost two centuries since their last trip to the mortal realm. Giving it plenty of time to change, and they're eager to see what's new.
