| A lifetime of intense mental and physical training has resulted in Gabriel having a rather muscular and lean build. His height of six foot one while helping him stand out also adds to his impressive physical appearance. Despite how little the young man cares for it. Gabriel is rather attractive in terms of his facial features(something of a common trait amongst the Vanheart children). Like his younger brother Caleb, Gabriel, has inherited his father's brown hair. In contrast to both his brother and father Gabriel's hair is long in length and easily drapes over his face. When allowed to grow unchecked can easily reach to his shoulders. On such occasions where his hair is indeed that long Gabriel keeps it tied back into a ponytail as to stop it from obscuring his face. His bangs are often kept parted for that reason as well, allowing his bright green eyes to be seen by all.
Gabriel's life as both a military man and member of Cambria's covert operations and research division Forge has toughen his body. It has also unfortunately led to him having several unsightly scars scattered along his chest and back. The most prominent of them being one located directly on his right side, just above his hip. In addition to the scars that litter his body Gabriel also has a single tattoo inked into his flesh. Located on his bicep and directly in front of his heart is a wolf-head in tribal design. It serves as Gabriel's homage to the mother that he lost.
Having never been one to abide by fashion trends Gabriel finds himself wearing whatever allows him to move comfortable. Anything that constricts or impairs his movement and ability to fight comfortably won't be worn by him. When it comes to more formal matters Gabriel is willing to sacrifice his comfortably to a degree. Opting for more formal attire that at least somewhat meets his standards. Unless being forced to or absolutely necessary you'll never find Gabriel wearing a suit.

▸ CHARACTER PERSONALITY
| It's highly unlikely one will ever find someone else with such a complex swirl of emotions as what can be seen inside of the second eldest Vanheart sibling. On the surface, Gabriel can easily be seen as serious and dignified man. He carries himself with an aura of superiority that is capable of making lesser and weaker willed men uneasy. His no nonsense and strict approach to problems and people often puts those he interacts with off. He takes pride in himself and his abilities, and to others it's quite clear as to why. Gabriel is a prodigy. His inclination towards not only combat but also matters of the mind could be seen from an early age. This resulted in both complements and high exceptions from those around him. Thus the idea that he is destined for great things has always been placed inside of his mind.
Because of this Gabriel grew to view himself as superior to those around him, looking down heavily upon those who simply could not match up to him. This is in despite of how hard his family, namely his mother, had stressed to him that he is not. A direct result of Gabriel's perceived superiority is his poor reaction to self-failure. It be no stretch to say that when Gabriel fails he lets that failure consume him. This is especially true when it comes to failures or mistakes that were entirely within his control. Although, just because he handles these things poorly when they happen doesn't always mean he's willing to admit he made a mistake right away. He is stubborn in that regard.
When it comes to his family Gabriel has always felt at odds with them. Viewing himself as the black sheep of the family, and because of this he often keeps them at a distance. He does care for them and would do anything in his power to protect them from harm. That desire is often hidden further down as he forges ahead on his own path. This distance from the bulk of his family is also Gabriel's attempt at hiding the truth from them. He's embarrassed by them and by the fact they, and by extension himself, are nothing more than country folk. It's also within his family that Gabriel finds himself facing something he's tried so hard to get himself away from. The feeling of being inferior.
This shows to a certain degree in terms of his relationship with his brother Caleb. Gabriel is often attempting to get his younger brother to be serious and actually make something of himself. This is due in part to the fact Gabriel is envious of him. He wishes he could see the world the way Caleb does. That the freedom Caleb has was so easy for him to reach. Try as he might, however, Gabriel can't bring himself to step from the path he has chosen to walk. One of status and power. So he'd rather push Caleb towards this more serious path than deal with his own feelings. Strange as it may be though Caleb is actually the one in his family that Gabriel finds himself turning towards during his weakest moments. He finds himself faced with a strange clarity when talking with his brother about the problems he can no longer push aside.
While Caleb is certainly the sibling that Gabriel holds the closest connection with in recent years. It's his sister Olivia that Gabriel has most strained and yet bonded relationship with, at least in terms of his siblings. Having only been born a year apart Gabriel and Olivia grew rather close during their childhood. This, however, didn't stop Gabriel from noticing that Olivia seemed to be the family favorite. That she could do no wrong. This was further driven home by the fact that much like Gabriel himself Olivia seemed just as natural adept. Thus, while certainly close Gabriel couldn't help but feel a need to prove himself better than her. He has made quite a few choices particularly because he felt like it was more impressive or difficult than what his sister had done.
When their mother passed away and their father shut down. Gabriel and Olivia were forced to take on the role of caretaker for their siblings. This resulted in Olivia and Gabriel growing particular close, as neither one of them had anyone else to rely on during those three years. It was only when their father finally came to his senses and Olivia seemed so eager to just forgive and forget that their relationship truly became strained. Gabriel couldn't forgive him and in his eyes, Olivia, like the perfect daughter she was let him right back in. Olivia stands as an obstacle Gabriel must always overcome within his mind, and she likely always will be.
Thus we arrived at what is perhaps one of the most defining traits of Gabriel's personality. His hatred for his father. Abram Vanheart is a man that Gabriel holds a deep contempt for. Despite being his father Gabriel views him as a weak-man who cracked under the pressure of loss. Forcing his children to pick up the slack for him. The young man's disdain for Abram is so strong that he refuses to even call him anything other than his first name. Something he's sure sting his father deeply. Gabriel was always mature for his age but being forced to help raise his siblings caused him to grow up even quicker. He obviously blames his father for this, and has little respect for the man as a result.
When under the influence of Rage most of the darker aspects of Gabriel's personality are greatly enhanced. Gabriel has always had a great deal of rage pent up inside of him. Something he doesn't bother shying away from. He's also always been a bit of sadistic person Gabriel finds himself enjoying the suffering of enemies far more than before. Translating to a need to prolong fights and take his time tearing down his enemies both physically and mentally. The sad truth of the matter is that Gabriel greatly enjoys the ability the rest of his family views as a curse. Having made it known on several occasions that if the ability wasn't so taxing he'd keep it active all the time.

▸ BATTLE INFORMATION
| Välk & Äikest - Gabriel's weapons of choice twin katana's forged from mythril. A type of metal that is known for how well chakra can be channeled through it. These finely crafted blades are kept sheathed at Gabriel's side whenever not in use. In addition to being made of mythril the hilts of both katana's has also been modified. With the press of a small hardly noticeable button located on the hilt of both blades. Gabriel can launch a cable of strong but highly conductive wire from the pommel of the swords.
Vigors
Raiju's Embrace - Gabriel's signature Vigor is that of Raiju's Embrace where he alters the nature of his chakra to that of electricity and lightning. Gabriel's use of this vigor is extensive and highly practiced. Allowing him to release the lightning from the palms of his hands as powerful lightning strikes, from his fingers tips, or even expel it from the surface of his skin for powerful shocks to those who touch him. In addition to this Gabriel has proved capable of using this Vigor to stimulate his muscles and nerves allowing for increased performance from his reflexes and rapid movement. Such use however runs the risk of Gabriel greatly damaging his muscles and nerves from the stimulation. Gabriel is also capable of channeling his electrified chakra into other objects. Such as his swords, allowing them to become vastly more dangerous. Perhaps the most deadly and effective use of this is seen when Gabriel makes physical contact with a person and forceful channels his electrified chakra into their body. Of course the downside of Raiju's Embrace is that it's nature as lightning means it effected by anything that would normally effect electricity. Such as rubber.
Magnetism - By manipulating his chakra and expanding it into the air around him Gabriel is capable of controlling the magnetic field around him. Once his charka has seeped into the air and fused with the magnetic field he can focus and expand it outward. Allowing him to push and pull objects & people to varying degrees. The general idea is that the heavier the object the more difficult and more chakra Gabriel must expend to manipulate it. Moving people against their will is also difficult as they are capable of acting against his pull or push by either expelling enough chakra of their own, or with enough force of will. In addition to the push and pull of objects this vigor offers Gabriel a strong but extremely taxing defensive method. He will 'push' and expand the field in a bubble around himself. The bubble in question is roughly 5 feet in length and surrounds him from top to bottom. When done it allows him to block both energy and physical attacks, blowing them back. When done close enough to person the same blowback effect can be produced. Thllis bubble can not be used for prolonged periods, in fact it can only be used it briefs bursts. Where several seconds must pass before he can once again release the 'push' of force.l
Rage - Anger and raw emotion given physical form, that is how best to describe Gabriel's Rage. A vigor that Gabriel inherited through the Landis flowing in his veins. When activated the vigor causes Gabriel's eyes to change from their shade of brilliant green to an eerie and powerful gold. This change in hue is followed by a drastic increase in Gabriel's combat capabilities. His level of experience and indulgence in the Rage triples his power output. In return for this increase in overall capabilities Gabriel sacrifices his composure. Becoming far more incline to his sadistic and cruel personality traits. Prolonged exposer and used during particularly emotionally stressful moments can even cause Gabriel snap into a berserk rage. Attacking anyone and everyone regardless of just who they might be to him. It's also extremely taxing on his chakra supply to keep the Rage active for prolonged lengths of time.
